What If... Remake Old Games?

[Left] Crusader: No Remorse
[Right] Stasis: No Remorse (Cool looking game, check it out!)
Different games, but look similar. It's like a remake.
I've been playing video games since we got our Nintendo Famicom in the late 80's, I was like 4 years old at the time. I saw games evolve from 8bit/16bit/32bit graphics to 3D and into like a blockbuster movie we play today. Enough about that, here are some games that will look good with today's graphics and technology:

Crusader series
No Remorse and its sequel, No Regret are part of the Crusader series. It's an action game in an isometric perspective view (like Diablo). It stars the silent protagonist called the Silencer (or Captain), an enhanced soldier that lived after he and his two other Silencer buddies got ambushed by the same company they're working for. It's packed with destruction and explosion and hilarious violence and cheesy dialogue. Imagine if this was remade with rag-doll physics, better graphics, same cheesy story and same, but improved, gameplay. A working remake preview for PSP leaked in the internet along with Andrew Sega's (soundtrack composer) The Traveler music remix, but it's later canned by EA.

Blackthorne
This one is made by Blizzard Entertainment, the guys that made Warcraft, Diablo, and Starcraft. This plays like old-school Prince of Persia meets post apocalyptic world with green enemies that I like to call "orcs". The main character is badass, armed with a shotgun. I didn't finish the game because it's hard for me. I think a remake or re-imagining are welcome to this game.

The Lost Vikings
A game by Silicon and Synapse (now known as Blizzard Entertainment). It's a creative puzzle platformer that lets you control 3 Vikings with different abilities to complete the level. Without one of them, you cannot complete the level. This one will look good on mobile phones today if remade.

Hover
I played this game on my cousin's Packard Bell computer with Window's 95 as its OS. It's like a bumper hover car that viewed in first person where you need to collect flags before your enemy does to finish a level. It also features power-ups to get the flags easier and traps to hinder your progress. If remade, this game is going to be a good competitive multiplayer game.

Snatcher
A kinda point-and-click game (if it was on PC) by Hideo Kojima. This game is very cinematic and very well written, nice voice work too. It's like watching an interactive movie/TV series. I haven't played this game, just watched its gameplay online. If this was released current gen. It will be a masterpiece.

Rival Schools
A very enjoyable fighting game by Capcom. Capcom dropped this franchise because they didn't see its appeal to the fighting game community. It's story somehow is about this evil school called Justice High that kidnaps and brainwashes students making them into killing machines. It's up to the students from different schools to stop Justice High. This game needs a remake or reboot.

Well, there you have it. I only mentioned few, and there are lots games to mention here. If you know any old game that needs the remake treatment, just sound in the comments

Cheers!
